What have I accomplished this year?

  Time flies, a year has passed. It is time to say goodbye with 2018.

For me, it must be a rich year. Because I’m not only become a sophomore but also try to do something that I never think of.

  In 2018, I participated many activities. There are two which I most like, and they are之夜and freshman camp. Actually, I think 之夜is the turning point for me to decide whether I want to participate other activity. Because I host a whole activity with Clair, Laura and Michael. We discussed how to host almost every day or until to midnight. Although it was very tired, I think that is a special experience. To be a host is big challenge for me because I am a person who can’t talk in front of people, I’m too shy. But after this activity, I become much brave than before and also learn how to team work in a good way. Until now, I still can’t believe I done it. And because of this activity, it let me have courage to participate freshman camp.

  I am glad I don’t give up on it, so that I can overcome myself, learn something that is important to our life and also make some good friends. I have never regret to participate those activities.

Memories about Christmas

  When it comes to festival, it usually make me think of Christmas. Because I like the atmosphere of Christmas which in the cold winter, can get together with my family and have big meal, talk about anything which happened in the year and also have some gifts. I think that is the happiest thing all over the world. So…Christmas is my favorite festival I guess.

  I remember that when I was in elementary school, my aunt went to Australia for study abroad. The only time she can come back to Taiwan is Christmas and Chinese new year. So the only way we can communicate is in face time of Sykpe. That is very difficult for us because we have time difference and the internet was not very well at that time. So I often hope that Christmas can coming soon.

  When Christmas is coming, I always cherish the time my aunt comes back to Taiwan. We usually have many big meals with the whole family to welcome her coming back and can also celebrate Christmas. I remember that we share everything we happened in the year. Whenever I sad, she always encourage me; whenever I happy, she must happier than me. Although she always bring a lot of gifts to me for Christmas gift, I think she is the best Christmas gift for me. And because of this long distance, it make me more cherish my family and also make me feel the warmth of Christmas.

What kind of travel I like?

  When it comes to travel, it always make me excited, because I am the person who like to travel everywhere. So if I don’t need to worry about time and budget, it must a wonderful thing. But there comes the contradictory thing, it is hard for me to choose where I want to travel even if I don’t need to care about time and budget.

  If you must say, I will choose Austria, Czech Republic and Hungary. The reason why I choose those places is not because there are lots of beautiful landscape, many thing to buy or delicious food to eat. It is because those are the places I have been with my best friends few years ago in summer vacation. I like the feeling that get together with my friends every day and don’t need to worry about what to do, just relax and enjoy the travel. But there is also a spot which make me impressed, that is Charles Bridge, in Prague. I remember that I hung out with my friends at about nine or ten o’clock (you must think that is dangerous in foreign, but there are lots of people outside to have fun, that is usual at Charles Bridge), we go through the bridge and take some photos, also buy some drink and Chimney cake to eat. That was really a wonderful night.

  But I still think that the reason why that is such a wonderful travel is all because of my friends, if they didn’t go with me, it must be bored. So if I have one more chance, I would like to visit it again.

My special tiny talent?

Before I join a team leader in freshman camp, I think my special talent is only playing the piano. But after that, I discover something that I never have….

I used to be a shy girl, afraid to talk in front of a group of people. So I don’t know why I have such a courage to be a team leader. Maybe god wants me to change myself. (hahaha

During the freshman camp, it make me figure out that I have good leadership and the ability of problem solving. It also training me how who to take care of people or let my member have strong coherence. Strong coherence is an important thing in a group. So if you want to let your group get good grade, you must encourage and concern them. Whenever happened any difficult, I always calm and face it, because I know I am a team leader, I can’t be tired or be afraid to anything. I feel very glad that I learn a lot in freshman camp, I’ll never regret to participate it.

My ideal job

What is my ideal job?

Actually I have no idea until now.

But there is a job I really want to try, that is flight attendant. For me that is a job which can wear the beautiful uniform and visit to a lot of countries, maybe it can let me travel all over the world. It sounds great, isn’t it?

But in reality, to be a flight attendant isn’t that much easily or as funny as you think. You need to pass a lot of test and training for long time. After those challenges you also need to adapt the life on airplane, maybe it will make your circadian rhythm out of order. And the most challenging thing is you cannot go home every day, actually there will never have a promise that when you can go home. So I think this kind of job just only suit for someone who not always homesick and can adapt everything quickly. Maybe I can try to do this job, so that it can make me more independent and can also make my dreams come true.

My writing experience

  I remember that the first time I complete a whole article is when I was in junior high school. My teacher didn’t told me who to write a great article, such like how to use the beautiful words, how to separate the sentence or don’t use many word ‘I’ in article and so on. So my English writing is really poor. After that, my mom sent me to an English cram school to improve my writing skills. But I usually play with my cram school classmate so my writing skill didn’t improve a lot at that time. (HAHAHA

  Fortunately, there is a turning point which make my writing skill become much better than before, that is my school English teacher. His name is Morgan, an old man almost has to retire, but his thought and teaching skill is not as old as his age, instead very modern. Remember that when I was a freshmen in senior high, he ask each of us write an article twice a week, and then he will check it and give it back to us. At that time, I really hate him because I’m bad in writing, but I still follow his step. After month ago, I become less afraid of writing than before and become more fluently. He also explain grammar mistake, teach us how to use beautiful words, which part need to use what kind of punctuation, how to separate paragraph correctly and so on. Although my writing skill is still need to improve a lot, he make my writing skill much better than before. 

  He make me realize that if you afraid of something, you should even more to do it, break through yourself.

Marriage?

What is marriage?

  In my point of view, marriage is two people who love each other very much and want to spend the rest of their life together.

It sounds romantic, isn’t it?

I think most of people want to be like that, so if you meet someone who is the right person to you, please cherish him/her and don’t give up easily.

  For me, marriage is not really necessary. Although I also want to married someone in the future, I still have a though that I must meet the right person or I won’t marry.

It is important for you to choose the person who suit for you, because marriage is an important thing. And the standard that the person who I prefer is not really strict. I don’t really care about his appearance, he just only need to looks clean and kind. And the personality I prefer is I hope he is a person who have strong ambition, definite view, humble, responsibility and honest. I think those personality is really important. And communicate with you are also an important thing, so if you face some difficult, you must communicate with each other. It not only can solve the problem but also make you two grow and learn a lot.  

  As the age I grew, I figure out something. That is marriage still have a reality, the person who you love not equal the person who suit for you to marriage. So hope you can find someone who you love and suit for you and he/she also love you.

If I could choose where to be born into

If I can choose the place to be born into, I think it must be Japan.

Japan is the country which always let people feel that they are earnest, honest and politeness. People in Japan always do everything very cautious, no matter that thing is important or not. They also faithful to their boss, and really respect their parents or other elder. I think they can be such a strong country is because their education is really successful. They teach their citizen need to earnest, need to be loyal, need to be on time, need to be polite, need to be clean, and don’t give others trouble when they are a child. So that is the reason why they can always give other people a great impression.

Beside the people in Japan, I also like their environment, culture, clothes and makeup. The traffic in Japan is really convenience and their street are always clean, it give others a nice feeling. And their culture is really cool, such like a lot of kind of ghost with their legend, or Japanese tea ceremony, or summer festival, kimono and so on. Those of them are interesting and funny. And I also love their Disney Land, because they have two part of it, one is Disney Land and another one is Disney Sea. So you can enjoy difference experience when go to there. I think Japan is really smart at marketing, because they combine their own culture on it and design their own style.

All of them are why I want to born into Japan! 

But…… I still love Taiwan, don’t kill me. ^_^

What if Chinese becomes the global language?

Have you ever think about that if Chinese becomes the global language? 
If it were come true, it can decrease the pressure that I learning other languages.

  Nowadays, I think it must be possible.
I remember that when I was in England, there are many store and restaurant they have the service of Chinese. Such like the signboard which have Chinese words on it, the menu with Chinese words or even though store clerk can also speak Chinese. I think it represent that there are many Chinese people all around the world. And because of the great amount of Chinese people, it help Chinese learning growth all over the world.

  Maybe it is possible that Chinese becomes the global language in the future, because Chinese is the language which use by the most people in the world. But if you want to let a language become the global language, it can't only judge by how many people use it, but also need to consider about the distribution it use. But no matter that Chinese is the global language or not, there are still more and more people use Chinese.

Englishes

After I look around all the countries, finally I choose Japanese. But the reason why I choose Japan is not because it is Asia country so it might be easy to listening, is because seldom am I heard Japanese say English. And I also heard it before that people usually say Japanese' English is not really well. So let's listen and we may know whether that rumor right or wrong. 

Actually, I don't have the part that I like or dislike. But if you must to say, I think is her accent, I figure out that she can’t make a sound retroflex. But that can’t be change, because in their mother tongue, there is no words have retroflex. So that is the reason why some people think their English can’t speak very well. But people in Taiwan also have our accent, if you don’t aware that, that is because you are already used to it.

Every country must has its' accent and special part. Such like maybe Japanese accent can’t speak English very well, but they are suitable for speaking French. So I don’t like people who usually laugh at Japanese accent and feel their English is not really well. That is rude. So I hope one day those people can change their mind. Everyone in this world are the best and unique.

A legend

   It is a story almost 30 years ago, it happened at Yuan Ze university. At the time this university are still be built. But there happened something when they built a department building....

   One day, there is a construction worker take her daughter who named Julia to construction site. Because her dad need to work, so he let her play by herself. Julia is a girl who really sensible, so her dad never be worry about her. In the evening, Julia want to go to the bathroom, so she walk to the basement first. Unfortunately, at the same time, the construction worker are started to irrigate cement into the basement first. But no body know that Julia is in the basement first. So, as you guess, Julia is buried alive by cement. It is too late when Julia's dad notice that his daughter is disappear. Julia's dad is very beat himself up but he can't do anything.
   After this tragedy happened, all the worker are afraid to go through this department building. And these they decided to cover this tragedy instead of talk to the other people because it might have a bad impression to this building.
   Few years ago, at the beginning of the first semester.  Most of people said that, especially for man, sometime you may heard a girl crying at that building when midnight. And the other said that they have seen a girl who stand on the top floor and look like almost fulling down. After that the whole school are afraid of that bizarre rumor.
   One day this rumor spread to Julia's dad, so he decide back to this university to find her daughter's soul. At the midnight, Julia's dad go to university by himself. Suddenly, he heard a girl crying. And then he follow the sound, finally, he find Julia at the stairs between basement first and the first floor.  She is crying and look at her dad, then she said she has been waiting for her dad to pick her back for few years. At that moment Julia's dad notice that he did the wrong choice, he must be find her daughter at that time but escape. After that they chat with each other happily.
   Finally, Julia's dad obtain the forgive which given by Julia and Julia is also rest in place. And the university back to the normal.

How do I look like in others' eye?

How do I look like in others' eye?
Am I a person who has long face?
Or am I a person who always smile?
Everyone's answer must be difference.
Actually, I have no idea that how other people describe me.

For me, I think I has a long face in others' eye, because people usually ask me:' Are you alright?'
or 'Are you mad?'.
When someone ask me that I often has many question in my mind.
But it is hard to avoid it because my face is inborn.
So, if you know me you must know that I an easy-going person.
I also think I am a person who lack of definite view, because when other people ask me
:' What food do you want to eat?' or ' Where do you want to go?'
I usually have no idea, so I think my friends usually want to kill me.
And I also think I am a mercurial and emotional person, because my emotional appearance often comes quickly.
Such like if I meet something I don't like or I think it make no sense, my face must become serious or upset.
And if I meet something sad or I can't stand, I must be cry out immediately.

But, no matter your description in others' eye is positive or negative.
The only thing you can do is believe and do yourself.
Although I know maybe sometimes you can't stand my personality.
But, everyone come from difference family and there are no people in this world are perfect.
So the only thing you can do is support and inclusive each other.
I think this is the best solution.

Never change yourself to cater other people, because it make no sense, that is your life but other people's life.

You don't need to make a difference or become someone famous or rich.
All I want you to do is, be yourself and do something right and you like. Although most of people in this society could attack you or treat you bad, don't be afraid of them. All you need to do is believe yourself and keep them going. But if you are wrong, you must correct them.
And the most important is to be humble.
I hope you have a great achievement, and do the job which  is your interest. 

Never be afraid to face something new or difficult, because it might make you stronger.

My favorite English channel

 English channel is not just only make you fun but also a great gateway to learning English. So I really like to improve English  by watching video. Because I can relax while I am learning. That is a win-win situation.
  Today I want to recommend you my favorite youtuber who called '阿滴英文'  and he really interesting in English. He is a Taiwanese who used to study abroad. And he also teach in cram school, host the channel in ICRT and also lecture in university before. His English channel topic is teach English, and he use in many way. Such like 10 common English sentences or words in many aspect, explain lyric, recommend some books and how to memorize vocabulary and so on....
 The reason why I want to recommend him to you is because he usually encourage audience to speak English or help you to find out the great way to learning English. And each of the video may won't take you too much time. So I often watch his video for learning English. And I also recall that when I was in high school, whenever I am under a lot of pressure I usually watch his video to relax. Because it is the only way that can make me relax while I am learning English.
